WunderBar

(2 Ratings)
Lively, crowded and young
A rather classic if touristy St Pauli club for the borderline-innocent and socially enthusiastic over-18 crowd, which gets packed at weekends. Located in the area's gayest street, the bar was started in 1991 by Axel Strehlitz and famed gay Hamburg theatre impressario and former football club president Corny Littmann. Music veers from chart pop and R&B to the odd drunken Schlager moment. Linked to occasional club night Pink Inc. [see entry]
