Otto's Burger (St Georg)
Hamburg's finest hamburger?
Superior northern German beef and pliable buns define this excellent burger establishment that opened in the summer of 2014 at the very top of the Lange Reihe in gay St Georg, then closed, then re-opened in August 2017, albeit in a much bigger premises on the other side of the street. This is one of four Otto's Burgers in Hamburg, the others being in Grindel (near the university), in Schanze and further afield in Ottensen. Prices are very reasonable given the quality of both the meat and the fries, with local and seriously good fritz-kola drinks thrown in as part of an optional meal deal. A covered outdoor seating area provides convenient views of the Lange Reihe catwalk.
